Pneumatic and hydraulic connection solutions supplier Tom Parker has announced a safety campaign aimed at its customers and the wider fluid power market.

'Safety First' was officially launched at the Fluid Power and Systems Exhibition 2014, where the company revealed a host of safety focused products.

The Protect Air brand of compressed air safety products, which is already a success in the USA and Europe, is being distributed directly to the UK fluid power market by Tom Parker. 

A key product within Protect Air's range of pneumatic safety fuses and regulators is the ‘HoseGuard’. Essential for instances where pressure exceeds pre-set safety levels, for example in the event of a hose burst; this small but effective air fuse eliminates the risk of hose whip by automatically activating an internal piston, reducing the supply of compressed air and allowing the airline to equalise back to safe levels.
