Safe and efficient de-dusting of personnel and equipment
01 October 2013
The blower-powered ‘JetBlack’ from Air Control Industries is a safe and effective tool for cleaning and de-dusting operations in factory environments, for personnel, plant/machinery and components. It is available in either a wall mounted or portable format, and it removes dust, fibres, debris and liquids quickly and efficiently.

Because the JetBlack delivers a high volume of air at low pressure (2.52 psig/70in.swg) it poses no threat to personal safety, even when directed at exposed skin. Compressed air can be fatal - this is particularly true if it comes into contact with bare skin. Installing a JetBlack will allow your employees to safely ‘clean down' without putting themselves in any danger.
To be compliant with the USA’s OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) requirements, the JetBlack is supplied with a chip-guard. The chip-guard is supplied as standard in the USA but is optional elsewhere.
With noise levels of less than 78db(A), the JetBlack’s noise emissions are typically lower than compressed air nozzle units.
It is also very cost effective. With blower-power costing around 90% less than for the equivalent compressed air generation, it offers significant savings.
Options include static neutralisation packs, and full cleaning/dust extraction booths.
ACI offers UK customers free site visits and demonstrations.
