Diversified technology company 3M is celebrating the 40th anniversary of its best-selling E-A-R brand Classic Hearing Protector with a new educational microsite, Discovery Kits, and free prize draw
E-A-R brand Classic by 3M is the world’s first foam ear plug and 40 years on, remains one of the most widely-used earplugs in the world with more than 72 million pairs sold worldwide in 2012. The microsite, which can be accessed at www.3M.eu/classic, is dedicated to promoting the benefits of this small yet essential product, including attenuation, comfort and ease of fit.
Visitors to the microsite will be able to view new videos introducing the market-leading features of the earplugs, download useful product information highlighting the key benefits for end users, and apply for their free E-A-R brand Classic Discovery Kit. Each kit contains a glossy poster showing how to fit the earplugs, informative literature on how and where to use, and ten pairs of E-A-R brand Classic Earplugs. Each kit request will also be automatically entered into a prize draw to win one of ten Peltor Bluetooth Headsets by 3M.
