Transit tramline system.
To overcome the problem of accessing part of the site over a flood relief channel, Cleveland Bridge hired a JLG 800AJ boom, which has a horizontal outreach of 15.74m and a platform height of 24.38m.
Cleveland Bridge's Ronnie Long said: "We have also hired five Haulotte HA16PX boom lifts from AFI because they have very good manoeuvrability and provide sufficient reach for us to work on the bridge structures." AFI's quieter Genie bi-energy boom was used for work carried out at night because the site is near to domestic properties.
