The new SD-95 drop spreader 'lays out' dry rock salt. A pneumatic-tyred wheel at each end of the polyethylene hopper keeps the spreader stable and easy to manoeuvre, and allows rock salt to drop through the bottom of the hopper via an adjustable flow gate. This makes the SD-95 suitable for use on walkways and paths where overspreading might damage grass and bordering foliage.
