As dusk fell across the
Chiltern Hills in Oxfordshire,
hundreds of people wearing
the new DuPont Tyvek
Classic Xpert coverall
descended into a valley to
perform a spectacular piece
of dance drama.
Over 1200 young performers from local communities, 600 singers, artists and volunteer cyclists (helping to power the set) all wearing Tyvek Classic Xpert coveralls performed an impressive dance routine amidst live sound effects, creative lighting, flares and smoke.
The Tyvek Classic Xpert coveralls, more commonly seen protecting those in manufacturing, laboratories, car body shops and crime scenes, were chosen after the dancer's trialled a variety of protective coveralls to test the flexibility, comfort, fit as well as the ability not to rip or wear out when performing a range of expressive movements. DuPont donated 2000 of the suits that were used in various events funded by Legacy Trust UK, of which the Tree of Light event at Stonor Park, Henley-Upon- Thames, on the 21st July was the striking finale.
