Designed to improve both physical and mental performance in warm conditions, Hyperkewl and Techkewl cooling products by Techniche (for which Alpha Solway have Exclusive UK and Ireland Industrial Distribution rights) reduce heat fatigue and heat stress by providing an active cooling sensation to the wearer.
Hyperkewl garments are able to provide a cooling relief through their Advanced Water Management System, of between 6-12°C below the outside temperature. It is activated by absorbing and storing water, then releasing it through evaporation, providing an 'evaporative chill'.
The Hyperkewl range includes vests, neckbands, helmet inserts, wristbands and headwear, with high-visibility fabric options also available. All are lightweight, hand washable and reusable, thereby offering a durable and cost-effective cooling system.
Techkewl garments use specifically designed inserts containing Phase Change Cooling Technology (PCM), which releases long lasting, temperature-specific (14°C, 58°F), cooling relief. The system is non-toxic, non-flammable, durable, reusable, lighter than water, and does not produce condensation.
Both the Hyperkewl and Techkewl product ranges are especially beneficial for use during prolonged activity when wearing PPE such as Chemical Protection Suits and Safety Equipment, even in the most arduous of conditions.
With a commitment to offering innovative and comprehensive PPE solutions, these new cooling products are just some of the wide range of items available from Alpha Solway. Full details of all Alpha Solway's chemical protective clothing and respiratory products can be found at www.alphasolway.com
