Northern Ireland Water,
within tight deadlines.
Working in partnership with BPF Distributors and Pumps, Reid was able to assess the technical brief and ensure that its Porta- Davit 500 (PD-500) could be customised to meet the required safety, lifting and access requirements.
Easy to transport and stow, with rapid assembly, the PD-500 was adapted for Northern Ireland Water to provide a 'Personnel Restraint Anchor Point', with the manufacture and supply of the 80+ units (plus electric hoists and waterproof covers) within just a few weeks.
