As lifting equipment and associated
components age, efficiency and
reliability can be compromised,
resulting in higher operating costs
and safety implications. To address
these issues, Demag Cranes &
Components recommends that its
lifting equipment undergoes a general
overhaul at least every ten years.
Demag general overhaul programmes have been designed to restore equipment to optimum performance and safety levels, providing a cost effective alternative to investment in new materials handling technologies.
Such regimes, backed by ongoing certification, also help operators meet obligations under workplace health and safety legislation.
