Rescuing people for over 100 years
13 April 2017
MRS Training and Rescue (previously Mines Rescue Service) have worked in high risk environments providing a rescue service across a vast selection of industries including mining, marine, oil & gas, nuclear and construction, for over 100 years.

During this time its experts have developed a huge array of skills and knowledge and all have a rescue operative's “QCF” certificate too.
Over the last twenty years, MRS have been involved in numerous projects involving high risk confined space entries such as pressuriser vessel refits, generator coolant jackets repairs, culvert inspections, oil rig assembly, shipping vessel safety audits, nuclear outages, shutdown and maintenance - not only in the UK but internationally.
This has ensured MRS staff have a wealth of experience and knowledge giving them the ability to enact a successful practical rescue from confined spaces during an emergency situation. What’s more, all operatives are multi qualified and competent in various areas of confined space and health & safety meaning they are able to provide you with other services during their time onsite to further benefit your company.
