On-site engineering expertise
07 February 2017
Sussex-based Big Foot Systems, part of the Aspen Pumps Group, has announced the internal promotion of Nathan Wood to the position of site engineer.

Nathan’s appointment will further add to Big Foot's engineering expertise on site, with the company leading the way in non-penetrative rooftop support solutions for mechanical services and safe access equipment.
Nathan studied mechanical engineering at Oxford Brookes University before joining Big Foot Systems as a project engineer. In this role he undertook project work, seeing it through from design and quotation to fabrication as well as applying technical analysis to these projects including FEA (finite element analysis), CFD (computational fluid dynamics) etc.
Whilst still being involved in project management and analysis, Nathan will now focus on large scale custom projects with more site work, meeting with customers to discuss design and other technical details as well as carrying out site surveys.
“I’m looking forward to becoming more involved in each project by seeing them through all stages and working directly with our clients,” Nathan said. “I’ve built up a high level of technical understanding at Big Foot Systems since finishing university and I’m excited to now be working on larger and more technical projects."
