Latest BSIF members
07 September 2016
Kee Connections, a specialist designer and manufacturer of quick connect safety couplings, hoses and connectors has recently become a member of the BSIF after opening a new facility in the North.
The company stocks finished goods ready for next day dispatch, which is crucial in order to meet the demands of clients who require a fast turnaround.
As well as being able to access specialist support services from the BSIF, Kee Connections has become a new member of the Federation to engage with the wider health and safety community on its latest project aimed at the breathing air industry. This project consists of developing a new breathing air hose complete with safety lock couplers and plugs, which has received pass certificates to standards EN 14594:2005, EN 14592-1: 2005 & EN14593-2: 2005 from the independent test house, BSI.
Kee Connections’ managing director, Tony Keeley, believes the key to growth is new markets developed around requirements for innovative coupling design that solve application requirements. Tony said: “The expansion of our design department is fundamental to improving the relationship between customers’ desires and the realisation of those ideas into prototypes for field trials/pre-products.”
With its new facility and over 30 years’ experience of coupling design, Keeley adds that the company is well positioned for growth. He concluded: “We are ready for tomorrow’s requirements today by offering innovative, problem solving solutions. The global landscape is changing quickly; we are not interested in keeping up, only in leading the way.”
