Training provider status
16 October 2015
Axis Cleaning and Support Services has been awarded Training Provider Status by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), enabling it to deliver the well-respected IOSH Managing Safely qualification, and affirming its core commitment to training and health and safety.
Axis intends to deliver an IOSH course every four months.
Training manager Duaine Taylor said: "With a sharp business focus, this practical course has a jargon-free format that ensures managers truly engage and understand the content."
He added: "IOSH is the world’s largest health and safety membership organisation, so to be given Training Provider Status proves that Axis is a valued and trusted provider of cleaning and support services."
Further emphasising Axis’ commitment to training and health and safety, 10 managers from the North region have successfully completed the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH) Train the Trainer course, in light of new chemical regulations. The company has also partnered with The Skills Network College to provide nationally recognised and accredited training to both operational and back-office teams.
