Health & Safety Executive to open free conference
18 August 2015
A free conference programme organised by the British Safety Council, awaits visitors to Health & Safety North on 7 and 8 October 2015 at the Bolton Arena.

Visitors to the two day event will have the opportunity to hear from leading health and safety experts and accrue CPD credits by attending topical educational seminars.
Kate Haire, head of Local Authority Unit at the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), will open the conference with her presentation 'HSE at 40 and Beyond'.
Kate will look back at The Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974 (HSWA) and HSE over the last 40 years. She will also provide updates on key developments in the health and safety regulatory framework, and offer insights into what we might expect in the future.
Other seminars taking place will look at measuring health and safety performance, legal developments, lessons learnt from a real-life electrical incident - plus much more. See the seminar programme here.
And for the very first time, Health & Safety North will stage a mock trial of a construction industry incident. Visitors, as the jury, will hear the evidence and decide who is at fault.
Visitors are encouraged to pre-register their attendance in advance at healthandsafetyevents.co.uk.
