OGN's work can involve people working at height on scaffolding, managing hazardous substances and handling heavy-duty industrial equipment, often in a tough and uncompromising environment.

The company sees the interpretation and analysis provided by Cedrec as integral to the safe operation of European safety and environmental practices; working closely with the Sunderland-based firm to interpret a raft of complex legislation and how it impacts on business activities.

These range from procedures for Reporting Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences (RIDDOR), on-site contractors’ health and safety, workplace exposure limits, classification of site waste, health surveillance and monitoring, flood risk assessment for new buildings and asbestos management among others.
