Employee wellbeing services
02 May 2014
Manchester-based ELAS, experts in employment law and health & safety, is predicating record growth as it extends its range of employer services to include occupational health.
This new service allows clients to assess the relationship between work and health and how the effects impact performance. This will supplement ELAS’ existing assessment and absence services, and should ensure that health risks in the workplace are managed to the same high standards as clients’ safety risks.
At the same time, ELAS has reinvented its Absence Assist service, which enables clients to monitor employee absence levels and detect patterns of unauthorised leave, to a fully proactive absence management system. A team of in-house nurses and doctors will be available to independently evaluate the health of employees taking both short and long-term sick leave, which ELAS’ employment law experts can then provide advice on.
