Work at height training
specialist Eurosafe Solutions
is reported to have seen a
major increase in sales of the
Vertex ST helmet, which has
been specifically designed to
offer protection to those
working at height.
Andy Jennings, training manager at Eurosafe Solutions, said: "This helmet is proving extremely popular with customers on our training sessions, as it has a wide range of features which make it comfortable and suitable for many types of work. It is well suited to those working in hazardous or industrial conditions, providing workers with the level of comfort and protection they need." Unlike standard construction helmets, which if not worn with correctly fitted chin straps can have a tendency to fall from the user's head when bending or in the event of a fall, the Vertex helmet remains comfortably secured on the head due to its six-point mesh headband. This can be easily adjusted, but keeps it centred on the head and also offers shock absorption, which is achieved through deformation of the outer shell.
The Vertex ST is designed to accept hearing protection, a visor or headlamp, which can easily be fitted within a few seconds.
The helmet's unventilated shell ensures protection against electrical risks and molten splash.
