HART, Checkmate's dedicated height
safety and rescue training division,
has recently opened 'The Tor', a giant
'Working at Height' training tower
facility, at its site in Sheerness, Kent.
One of the tallest training towers in Europe, it can simulate realistic evacuations from wind turbines, tower cranes and telecoms.
The new tower means that HART will be able to provide both existing and new clients with a much wider range of courses, particularly high level rescue training. Approved by RenewableUK, GWO and Siemens for Working at Height training, this is the only accredited tower of its type in the South of England.
