The British Safety Industry Federation (BSIF) in conjunction with the Environment Agency (EA) is pleased to announce the appointment of The McOnie Agency and Active Research to develop a new market report entitled “Best Practice in Spill Prevention in the Waste Management Industryâ€.
The report will identify the key spill prevention issues within the waste management industry, understand the best practices and create solutions relevant to the industry and widely publicise the key spill prevention issues and solutions.
Interviews and focus groups are currently underway involving the industry's key representatives and organisations, and the results are expected to be released in Spring 2013.
The core purpose for the report from the BSIF and the EA, is to show straightforward ways to prevent pollution within the workplace. The report will provide advice and solutions on how companies can reduce the risks associated with spillages.
This is especially relevant to the rapidly growing waste management industry. To prevent accidents and injuries it is critical that risks are identified early and practices are established. The BSIF and EA will provide examples of best practice.
