Queen's Award for Enterprise.
The combination of design, manufacturing processes and a developed international sales and support team have all contributed to the company's growth.
Ian Thompson, Advanced Electronics' sales director said: "As a UK company, the award will be a major marketing asset for our export drive and will be welcomed by our customers and partners at home and abroad." The award will be presented by Her Majesty's Lord Lieutenant at International Firex 2011.
