Road risk management survey launched
23 September 2025
MANAGING DRIVER safety remains one of the most complex – and frequently neglected – areas of workplace health and safety.

To help address this issue, Driving for Better Business, the award-winning free programme from National Highways, has teamed up with Health & Safety Matters to launch a short survey aimed at health and safety professionals.
The survey seeks to identify the key challenges faced in managing work-related road risk. Insights gathered will inform the development of new free resources designed to support professionals in meeting their legal obligations and improving driver safety outcomes.
The anonymous survey is open until 10 October, and takes just 3–4 minutes to complete. No personal information is requested, ensuring full confidentiality.
Findings from the survey will be compiled into a report to be published by Health & Safety Matters later this year.
Health and safety professionals are encouraged to take part and help shape the tools and guidance that will support safer driving practices across the UK workforce.
