BSIF appoints Luke Neale

THE BRITISH Safety Industry Federation (BSIF) has appointed Luke Neale in the newly created role of Audit & Compliance Assessor to help meet the Federation’s obligation to audit its Registered Safety Supplier Scheme (RSSS) members.
RSSS seeks to improve the quality of PPE, Safety equipment and services as well as the capability of economic operators in the UK occupational health and safety market, while eliminating unsafe, non-compliant and illegal safety products and services, helping to keep people safe and healthy while they are at work.
Luke began his career with Treadstone in 1998 and, having mastered various roles within the company, his most recent position was Quality Assurance, Technical and Certification Manager. He has worked closely with Trading Standards officers and Notified Bodies for 20 years and has conducted audits around the globe.
Luke has extensive experience in quality management, product development (design, specification and testing), procurement and import / export in addition to copyrights, patents and trademarks. During recent years, he has been instrumental in the development, testing, certification and launch of a wide range of protective gloves.
