SHE Awards to be part of BSIF PPE Conference
21 February 2021
THE BRITISH Safety Industry Federation (BSIF) has announced it's partnering with Health and Safety Matters magazine to host a free digital conference on PPE, which will also incorporate revealing the winners of the Safety and Health Excellence Awards.
The conference and awards will take place on 28 April 2021 and you ca register to attend for free with all attendees receiving CPD. The SHE Awards shortlist was announced last year but the ceremony was postponed due to COVID-19 but now the winners will be revealed in a virtual ceremony that will feature a comedy set from impressionist Alistair McGowan (sponsored by Shawcity). You can view the shortlist for the awards, which has Lyreco as headline sponsor, at www.she-awards.com
The BSIF PPE Conference will examine the role that PPE plays in effective safety and health management. It will look at PPE applications – Head to Toe – where it is used to protect against the range of hazards faced by wearers. COVID-19 highlighted shortcomings in PPE supply and PPE quality and this digital conference seeks to identify what good PPE looks like and how it can be specified, sourced and supplied effectively, to keep users safe and well while they are at work.
The Conference will hear from senior staff members of the regulators, the Health and Safety Executive, the Office for Product Safety and Standards and Trading Standards as well updates from BSIF and contributions from the BSIF Special Interest Groups across the PPE product applications.
You can register to attend the BSIF PPE Conference and the Safety and Health Excellence Awards for FREE at https://sees.evessiocloud.com/live/en/page/home
