SSIP audit success
21 July 2017
MSL Property Care Services are proud to announce that the MSL Safepartner scheme has successfully renewed its membership to the Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) forum following completion of their annual audit.

The annual independent SSIP audit focuses on the scheme's health & safety assessments and how it complies with the requirements of SSIP Terms of Reference (ToR’s), Codes of Practice (CoP’s) and Deem to Satisfy (DTS).
Aimed to improve property maintenance services, the SSIP assessments are all judged on core criteria approved by HSE. These core criteria describe what it means for a construction business to comply with basic health and safety law. The core criteria were published by HSE in Appendix 4 of the CDM 2007 Approved law.
The SSIP Forum will work to actively advise and influence clients (buyers) on acceptable interpretation and appropriateness of health and safety competence/capability standards in the UK.
Both public and private sector clients who run their own approved or preferred list of contractors require contractors and consultants wishing to be placed on those lists to have their health and safety competence assessed at the prequalification stage.
