New interface for wireless fire alarm system
05 August 2016
Ramtech Electronics, which is said to be the manufacturer of Europe’s only EN 54-compliant wireless fire alarm system, has developed a new interface that links the WES+ fire alarm with existing safety and security technologies used on site.

The WES+ Interface is suited to a wide range of new build and refurbishment projects and is capable of integrating with most commonly used technologies in existing buildings, construction projects and site cabins.
WES+ Interface is highly suited to extension or refurbishment work in buildings that need to maintain strict access controls and integration with existing building management systems.
The interface can be connected to other safety technologies on site so that when the alarm is raised it triggers the other systems. For example, the connection could be set up so that when the alarm is sounded across the WES+ system, the site access is switched to a safe evacuation state. The Interface can also be connected so that the WES+ system alarm can be triggered by an action from a third party system.
