FLTA announces new location for Safety Conference
26 November 2015
Announcing the date of its annual Safety Conference, the Fork Lift Truck Association (FLTA), the UK’s leading authority on the safe and effective operation of fork lift trucks, has also revealed that the event is to be held at a new venue.
Next year’s conference, sponsored by Jungheinrich UK will take place on Wednesday 29 June 2016, at the Heart of England Conference and Events Centre, near Coventry.
The new venue offers a number of advantages. Situated just off the M6, close to the M42, and less than 10 minutes’ drive from Birmingham Airport and the train station, the site is highly accessible, with plenty of on-site parking, as well as accommodation.
Association chief executive, Peter Harvey, said: “The new venue is ideally suited to the conference, allowing greater ease of access for delegates from across the UK – and further afield.”
The annual FLTA Safety Conference addresses the key issues which directly impact upon those working with fork lift trucks. While further details are still to be announced, attendees can expect presentations from leading industry experts about the latest research and innovations regarding fork lift truck safety.
