Tests mask integrity
18 July 2013
To ensure that compliance to the highest standards for respirators is achieved, in addition to face-fit testing of the mask to the user, the correct levels of maintenance can now be established through a series of automated tests.

Available through BSRIA Instrument Solutions, the PortaCount from TSI provides a comprehensive tool to quantitatively fit test respirators. Combined with a NEW accessory from TSI, the Mask Integrity Test Accessory (MITA), it provides a complete safety solution for fit and mask integrity.
The MITA 8120 works in tandem with the PortaCount respirator fit tester to test full face mask respirators for mechanical integrity and leaks to ensure they are functioning as designed.
