Intelligent fire door

Safety and convenience often don't sit well together. We know we need to keep fire doors closed to hinder the spread of fire, yet often ease and convenience mean doors are propped open. Fireco's solution is wire-free device Freedor, which holds fire doors open at any angle but automatically closes the door when the fire alarm sounds, preventing the spread of fire and smoke around the building.

Freedor has no wires and is easy to install in new buildings and retrofit. With a battery life of between 12-18 months, it also comes in a number of finishes including chrome, brass and stainless steel. It is suitable for organisations who need access through their doors e.g. for deliveries, wheelchair or pushchair access or for those who just want a thoroughfare from room to room.
