Yale says its new generation of 8-16
tonne trucks offers 'an evolution' in
both operator efficiency and truck
performance.
The GDP80-120DC and GDP130- 160EC series use less fuel and are more productive than the previous series. Longer servicing intervals, increased uptime and reduced servicing costs also mean lower lifetime costs of ownership. Two configurations both use a high performance 116kW (155Hp) @2300rpm diesel engine combining durability over longer periods of peak power operation with excellent acceleration and hauling power.
Fuel savings of up to 5% are claimed through the company's Load Sensing Hydraulics system, which also includes advanced filters to protect components from contaminants, contributes to enhanced reliability and extends the life expectancy of parts.
Five optional cab configurations increase operator comfort.
