Fortress Interlocks has
added the DMSK to its DM
(door module) robust
modular access interlock
range. The DMSK is a stainless
steel single door interlock
specially designed for
hygienic areas and suitable
for all types of doors. Its
minimal design helps reduce
dirt traps while protecting
workers from hazardous
areas.
As part of an interlock system, DM locks are used to control access to enclosed areas until a safe condition has been achieved. In a typical sequence, the key is inserted into the lock and turned; the actuator is disengaged and the door opened. The key remains trapped until the door is closed and the actuator re-engaged. Other sequences are available.
The DM module benefits from a head design which features a choice of four head rotation angles with an adjustment of 360° at 90° increments and two actuator entry points.
The head, all internal contact components, actuators and key are constructed using stainless steel.
