A boom lift supplied by AFI-Uplift
has helped to make light work of a
repair and painting contract at a
lighthouse in Hartlepool.
Pyeroy's Infrastructure and
Maintenance Support Services
Division hired the JLG 450AJ boom
from AFI's North East depot over a
four-week period to work on the
13m high Headland Lighthouse,
which was built in 1926.
The boom gave Pyeroy the height and accessibility needed to work all the way around the lighthouse and bring it back into shipshape condition.
The JLG boom lift hired by Pyeroy has a working height of 15.72m and an articulating jib which enables the cage to be manoeuvred into different positions in relation to the boom.
