Safety, Health and Wellbeing Live South returns to Farnborough International on 2-3 October 2024. Read on to learn what you can expect from the event.

AFTER HUGE growth in 2024, Safety, Health and Wellbeing Live South will be making a much-anticipated return to Farnborough International on 2-3 October 2024. This live, in-person event is coming back bigger and better in 2024, with a host of brand-new exhibitors, event features and speakers.  

Professionals responsible for health, safety and wellbeing within their organisations are invited to register their attendance to discover the latest innovations, enhance their professional knowledge, discuss industry trends, and build important relationships with other industry professionals in the community.

The event will champion excellence in workplace safety and occupational health, as well as inspiring improved standards in mental health and wellbeing. This unique regional event is designed to enable OSH communities to shift the dial on health and safety culture in the workplace.

The two-day event, which is free-to-attend, promises a packed line up of industry-leading exhibiting brands, networking opportunities, and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) sessions for all delegates.

Attendees will have the chance to learn about the latest regulatory changes and work being undertaken to improve health and safety culture in the workplace. Topics covered will include sustainability in the industry, post pandemic working and the challenge it poses to health and wellbeing, alongside mental health discussions, and the evolving workplace health culture.

Safety, Health and Wellbeing Live will also feature a free networking drinks reception open to all visitors and exhibitors alike.

Delivered in collaboration with The Health and Safety Executive, key event partners have continued their support for this third edition of Safety, Health and Wellbeing Live South, including IOSH, NEBOSH, British Safety Council, BOHS, IIRSM, UKATA, IOM and No Falls Foundation.

Who should attend?

Safety, Health and Wellbeing Live is unique in its offering, connecting regional occupational safety and health professionals in the South of the UK. The event, which is taking place at Farnborough International, presents an easily accessible, in-person occasion for the OSH community.

The event is open to those across all industries and is particularly relevant towards manufacturing and engineering, construction, transport, and public sectors. OSH professionals actively seeking product information, procuring solutions, and looking for best practice advice to improve workplace standards are invited to attend.

Numerous industry-leading bodies, regulators and councils have pledged their support for the two-day exhibition and conference event as event partners. Organisers are supported by an experienced Advisory Council, which includes some of the UK’s most influential voices in occupational safety and health.

To achieve the goal of delivering the highest-quality event of its type, organisers are proud to be working in collaboration with the Health and Safety Executive. HSE will be hosting sessions in the Keynote Theatre and Wellbeing Hub and their team will also be at the event to offer guidance and support to visitors.

Plus, for the first time at Safety, Health and Wellbeing Live, HSE will be hosting Spotlight Seminars in their on-stand mini-theatre, where visitors can learn from expert speakers in small-group Q&A sessions and gain knowledge from live demonstrations.

Following on from a hugely successful collaborations in 2022 and 2023 and at Manchester Central early in the year, event organisers are again working closely with IOSH to offer learning and networking opportunities to members and non-members alike at Farnborough International.

New co-located events for October 2024

Now in its third year, Safety, Health and Wellbeing Live has been attracting key buyers who are actively looking for fire safety products and services. Fire Safety Live has been launched to meet this growing demand.

Co-located with Safety, Health and Wellbeing Live on 2-3 October, Fire Safety Live is proud to have the support of the IOSH Fire Risk Management Group. The group is growing in strength and has a stronger voice than ever in the wider fire safety community and will be hosting a 2-day conference at the event, with several high-profile industry speakers. There will also be numerous networking opportunities to enable the fire safety community to engage in person.

Hosted alongside Safety, Health and Wellbeing Live and Fire Safety Live at Farnborough International is The Aftermarket Event. This brand-new two-day live event dedicated to the UK Independent Garage’s and Bodyshop’s will feature an exhibition, interactive workshops, informative seminars, comprehensive training and more.

Visitors can access all three events and all conference sessions with just one free pass.

New for 2024, the Fire Safety Live theatre – hosted by IOSH Fire Risk Management Group, is committed to bringing together influential and respected voices to help OSH professionals to achieve, uphold and understand the highest standards of fire safety management.
