Global expansion of Jackson Safety into Europe
08 March 2021
SUREWERX ANNOUNCES the global expansion of its safety products into Europe, through its Jackson Safety brand, which it acquired in 2018.

“Europe represents an important growth market for SureWerx and we are excited to commit our resources and continually invest to fuel future growth,” commented Chris Baby, chief executive officer of SureWerx. “We are deeply focused and committed to become the global leader in professional worker safety and productivity, and we look forward to new partnerships and to expand our employees, customers and innovation in Europe."
Jackson Safety has a long history of delivering innovative safety solutions and personal protective equipment for welding, construction, industrial and automotive markets. Their products are tested to meet or exceed the rigorous CE standards for quality and safety performance. In addition to the new and exclusive Translight range of welding helmets in both standard and PAPR form, Jackson Safety is also launching the Rebel welding mask, Jackson welding blankets and Jackson Wilson welding curtains to further improve worker safety and productivity. The new range of Jackson Safety face shields are complemented with safety glasses and goggles and the full line of PPE are completed with new products in anti-slip, hearing, head and knee protection.
Clive Shepherd, general manager, SureWerx Europe said, “We are delighted to be able to bring our expertise to the European market and deliver on our mission to provide innovative personal protective equipment to professional workers. Whether the need is for respiratory protection in a steel fabrication environment, head, face and eye protection on a construction site, or hearing protection at an airport, we have the widest range of safety choices to meet the needs of every job and every worker.”
Worker safety regulations and legislation will continue to increase and a good example of this is the recent UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE) safety alert in 2019 for those operating in the welding industry. The HSE is strengthening its enforcement to reduce the exposure of workers to welding fumes, which have been listed as carcinogenic. Jackson safety has a full range of PAPR systems that will protect the worker from these deadly fumes.
