Alcumus launches supply chain compliance solution

Designed to maximise supply chain compliance and visibility, the new solution is an expansion of the flagship Alcumus SafeContractor solution. By increasing the range of supplier types and associated risk categories, organisations seeking comprehensive supply chain risk management now have a one-stop-shop from the most trusted name in the industry.

Alcumus research conducted in December 2021¹, revealed more than three quarters of businesses have encountered instances where supplier performance has adversely affected their own business in the past. In this context, ESG factors, such as sustainability and modern slavery, are of increasing concern at board level. 

This intensifies the pressure for businesses to enhance the visibility of their supply chains and therefore to improve pre-qualification and verification processes across the supplier universe. That same pressure is felt by the suppliers themselves, the increasing demand to evidence that they are a responsible organisation, can win or lose them contracts.
