LoneALERT invests in staff

07 December 2016

Lone worker protection specialist LoneALERT has taken on new staff and invested in training for its long-serving workers as part of its ongoing commitment to providing the very best services and solutions for customers.

From national construction firms to charities, environmental specialists, councils, water companies, ports, transport organisations, breweries - and everything in between - companies from a varied range of industries have turned to the Birmingham-based lone worker protection specialist to help keep their staff safe in the line of duty.

The company has now expanded its team to ensure the very best service is offered to its ever-growing customer base and help the company maintain its position as the leading voice in the industry.

Sylvia Maxam will be joining LoneALERT’s customer support team in January, in light of excellent growth, to help with the company’s provision of unlimited support and remote training for all customers.

Brandon Hall has joined the development team to enable LoneALERT to deliver the company’s ambitious product improvement proposals, whilst experienced software developer, Ayyaz Hussein, has joined the team to further enhance LoneALERT’s already established in-house software ability.

As well as the new team members, long serving staff have been sent back to school to undergo apprenticeships to help them build new skills to better serve customers.

Sales executive Adam Bottrell is currently undertaking a Level 3 Customer Service qualification while Mathew Colley, sales and marketing manager, is undertaking a Level 4 Diploma in Management and Leadership.

It comes after customer support and training manager Val Clarke successfully achieved a national qualification ensuring customers receive the best training to implement lone working solutions. Val spent a year working towards the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) Learning & Development Certificate Level 3 and is now an Associate Member of CIPD with access to the latest training information and trends to benefit LoneALERT customers.

LoneALERT is a comprehensive suite of products to protect staff working alone, remotely or who are vulnerable. It uses complex patented technology written by Cradley Heath-based Advance IT Group.
