Fire extinguishers - How do you comply with your legal maintenance requirements?
10 May 2016
You are required by law to ensure a "suitable system of maintenance" (RR(FS)O 2005 - Article 17) is in place for your extinguisher systems to safeguard the safety of all persons on site.

To help you meet your requirements, FPA runs "enjoyable and easily understood" (Nacer Rezig, Colfey Workplace) courses entitled:
- Portable Fire Extinguisher Recharging and Maintenance – 27 June (3 day)
- Portable Fire Extinguisher Technicians Refresher – 18 May
These courses offer an efficient and cost-effective solution for organisations that operate on one or more sites to undertake their own servicing and maintenance.
Fire Warden Training
It is equally important to ensure the competence of the Fire Wardens within your facility. FPA can help here as well via our popular course:
Fire Safety for Fire Wardens – 7 June (½ day) London
For forthcoming public course dates and more information on our bespoke courses visit our website here, email [email protected] or call us on 01608 812 500.
