At the sharp end
14 October 2013
At A+A, Capital Safety is launching the Nano-lok Edge: designed to be used with "extreme" sharp edges, it is said to be the only self-retracting lifeline (SRL) in the world to allow use over a zero radii edge.

As it is not always possible to measure the sharpness of edges around a work site, the Nano-Lok edge cable keeps you safe at even the sharpest edges.
Designed to tie off at foot level, the Nano-Lok edge retracts unused lifeline, virtually eliminating a potential trip hazard. Other features include fall clearances as low as 4.9m – traditional foot level tie-off lanyards require fall clearances up to 6.75 m; and high capacity at 140Kg user weight supported.
