More Pt100 probes have
been added to the range of
temperature sensors from
ifm electronic. Highlights
of the TM44 series include
a titanium housing
(TM9900) to complement
the high-grade stainless
steel versions.
They all feature the class A Pt100 for precise temperature measurement and the latest manufacturing techniques ensure small diameters (6mm in stainless and 8.2mm in titanium) for response times as quick as one second.
The temperature span ranges from -40 to +150 ºC (125ºC in the case of titanium) and when correctly fitted they can withstand pressures up to 160bar, or even 300bar in the case of the TM9900 titanium probe. A wide variety of mounting and connection accessories is also available, covering standard progressive-ring and welding fittings, and M12 connectors and evaluation units.
