Back in August, Cirrus Research updated its blog, NoiseNews, giving individuals the opportunity to learn more about noise measurement and the different types of equipment available. This gave its customers and distributors the platform to actively participate in its online 'Questions and Answers' sessions by using the recently added question function.
The response was fantastic and as a result, Cirrus Research collated its top 10 posts from the NoiseNews blog and published them all in an eBook which is now available to download from its website.
Topics covered within the eBook include:
• Top 10 reasons why repeating a noise measurement could give different results?
• What are A, C and Z frequency weightings?
• Why do you need a windshield on a sound level meter?
• What's the difference between Class 1 and a Class 2 sound level meter?
• Why don't noise dosemeters have a class or type description?
• Why do I need to calibrate my noise measurement instruments?
The NoiseNews blog has proven to be the perfect tool to keep customers and distributors up to date with latest news and information about Cirrus Research, as well as new products, recent legislation and where Cirrus Research will be exhibiting next.
