Following the 'Time to Clear the
Air' campaign, HSE has joined up
with the AWD (Association of
Welding Distribution) to run a
series of events on fume extraction

The events are suitable for companies that weld metals and that supply welding equipment and consumables.
Those attending attending the half-day event will: Get practical advice from industry specialists in welding fume extraction, industrial gases and PPE See demonstrations of how LEV works and why it often doesn't! Get key, practical tips on how to minimise the amount of fume and achieve faster welding See how to get the best from a fume system (and save money!) Find out how to optimise capital spending by getting the best out of LEV/PPE suppliers Get impartial advice from a wide range of suppliers of welding goods and services.
