stage towards achieving the 'Safety
Star Accreditation'.
Norbord's 'Safety Star' programme is based on OSHA's (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) Voluntary Protection Programme (VPP) and combines 23 of its own safety expectations.
"All employees have to participate, and it is gratifying that so early in the year, we already have two sites at Stage 3 of the programme," commented Steve Roebuck, director of health, safety and environmental affairs at Norbord.
