Totectors, the safety
footwear specialist is
celebrating its 125th
anniversary this year with a
brand new range of
footwear and an exclusive
UK& Ireland partnership
deal with a specialist in
waterproof technology.
Following an in-depth analysis of the requirements for safety footwear in a multitude of conditions Toetectors has developed a range centred around comfort, slip resistance and being light weight.
Totectors is also finalising an exclusivity partnership with OutDry, a supplier of patented laminate membrane technology for wind and waterproof footwear. OutDry uses a three-dimensional laminating process to adhere a waterproof, windproof, and breathable membrane to the inside of the outer most layer of shoes, boots, and gloves.
Some waterproof liners or booties leave a gap for moisture to seep in, but OutDry's Technology permanently bonds to the shoe creating a flawless fit with no folds, seams or seamsealing tape. The system is said to create a more waterproof finished product, which is lighter and more comfortable.
