per cent hence so many
organisations have invested in
Automated External Defibrillators
(AEDs).
However work carried out by JPen Medical has revealed that even though many AEDs would pass a self-test, around 10% of them would still fail a 'live test' carried out by a qualified engineer. Medical professionals get their AEDs live tested every 12 months, a service, JPen Medical is now offering to nonmedical AED operators.
For a charge of £39.95 + VAT, a JPen Medical's qualified engineers will carry out an on site detailed live testing schedule.
