Showcasing sustainable hand protection

04 October 2023

MIDAS SAFETY will showcase sustainable personal protective equipment (PPE) that enhances worker safety and wellbeing at the A+A Show in Düsseldorf (24-27 October 2023).

Highlights will include new gloves made from recycled ocean-bound plastic bottles and hand protection with maximum cut resistance and optimal dexterity.

The new Midas Green range on display at A+A includes nine products made from up to 90 percent recycled yarns, polyester, or sustainable fibres. For every glove produced, Midas Safety uses at least one ocean-bound plastic bottle. The Midas Green range also includes biodegradable disposable gloves that break down in landfills faster than typical nitrile gloves (62 percent in one year).

Midas Safety will also showcase its new W74 Tungsten hand protection range. The company says these gloves are among the thinnest on the market (available in 21 gauge and 18 gauge) while meeting the highest cut resistance requirements according to EN 388:2016 (level F) and ANSI/ISEA 105-16 (level A7-A9).
