Manufacturing under Kitemark scheme

Posted on Friday 1 January 2010

The prestigious Kitemark, one of the most recognised global symbols of quality, integrity and safety, demonstrates that JSP personal protection meets the applicable British, European, International and other recognised standards for quality, safety, performance and reliability.

The BSI Kitemark, a quality mark owned and operated by the British Standard Institution (BSI), is said to offer true value to consumers, businesses and procurement practices.

A BSI Kitemark gives JSP’s products immediate status – hard earned through rigorous testing of their products at a BSI centre of excellence and gives reassurance that JSP products are consistently batch tested at all times, that they undertake ongoing factory assessments and that they are manufactured under their worldwide Quality Management System.

With UKAS accreditation, benefits of the Kitemark include risk reduction and increased customer satisfaction. It demonstrates JSP’s duty of care to industry, employees, suppliers and end-users that JSP products may be totally relied on to perform to a consistently high level over and above the EN standard every time. JSP is said to be the first manufacturer to get a combined range of respiratory products on a Kitemark licence.
