Following the launch of the Polytron
5000 earlier this year, Dräger has
unveiled its new Polytron 8000
flammable or toxic gas detector.
Designed specifically to measure
gases using a uniform operating
principle it is said that this new
innovation will make the entire
process of fixed gas detection much
easier from an operator point of
view.
Five versions of the Polytron 5000
are available:
the Polytron 5000 (EC) for the
measurement of oxygen and
various toxic gases
the Polytron 5200 (CatEx),
Polytron 5310 (DSIR) and
Polytron 5700 (PIR 7000) for the
detection of combustible gases and
vapours
the Polytron
5720 (PIR
7200) for the
measurement
of carbon
dioxide

All devices in the Polytron range
feature durable sensors, short
response times, high sensitivity and
accuracy, ensuring highly reliable gas
detection.
The new units offer low sensitivity
to other gases or changing ambient
conditions, simplified handling and
easier maintenance, without
sacrificing functionality.
