3M Rugged Anti-Scratch (RAS)
Coating. Maxim and Maxim
Ballistic eyewear products come
with the super-hard coating that is
said to give excellent protection in
the toughest environments helping
to ensure that lenses stay clear and
free of scratches for substantially
longer periods.

As well as reducing replacement
costs by extending lens life, the RAS
hard coating is designed for tough,
hazardous environments and also
offers good resistance to
degradation caused by contact with
chemicals.

RAS coated lenses are designed
for a wide range of applications
including chiselling, drilling, milling
and machining, riveting, sanding
and sawing.
