Investing in future growth
Crown, one of the world’s largest materials handling companies, is expanding its activities in Germany with new investments intended to enhance customer service throughout Europe.
It is relocating its European headquarters from Munich to a nearby location in Feldkirchen and expanding its production site in Roding, Bavaria. The company has also opened a new logistics centre – the new Parts and Service Centre – in Pliening, near Munich.
Ken Dufford, Crown’s vice president Europe, says : “With these three new investments we are creating the urgently-needed capacities to meet the growing needs of our customers for viable solutions designed to advance productivity and lower costs.”
