How Loomis UK protects its drivers

VISIONTRACK HAS been selected by Loomis UK, one of the world’s leading security and cash management companies, to support driver safety and risk reduction across its 500+ vehicle UK fleet.

Operating in high-risk environments, Loomis UK required a video telematics solution that could enhance on-road safety while supporting drivers.

As part of the rollout, Loomis UK vehicles are being equipped with front- and driver-facing AI cameras featuring Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and Driver Safety Monitoring (DSM). The technology provides real-time in-cab warnings for risky behaviours, instant access to video evidence, and live vehicle location data to support incident review and fleet oversight.

Crucially, the deployment also includes VisionTrack’s AI assistant, NARA, which automates event analysis and suppresses unnecessary alerts. This ensures Loomis UK’s teams can focus on meaningful safety events while reducing manual review time.

Ben Fairburn, operations director at Loomis UK commented, “Following a comprehensive review, VisionTrack stood out for both their technology and their understanding of our operating environment. The ADAS and DSM warnings will support our drivers in real time, while the ability to quickly review footage through Autonomise.ai allows us to react to incidents and continuously improve safety across the fleet.”

The installation itself was completed in weeks, not months.

Chris Price, fleet supervisor at Loomis UK commented: “VisionTrack did all the hard work for us. They got the install done in a couple of weeks. They were always at the end of the phone, always checking in every day.”

The drivers have responded too. Driver-facing cameras are often met with hesitation, but at Loomis UK they are there to protect the driver, providing a clear and factual record when it matters.

Chris Price added: “Considering it’s a new piece of technology we’ve installed, the drivers have taken to it really well. If there was an unfortunate event, we would have concrete evidence that would help us submit our accident forms on time with reliable data.”

Simon Leonard, business development manager at VisionTrack, said: “Loomis UK operates in one of the most demanding fleet environments, where safety, accountability, and efficiency are critical. Our focus is on helping their teams reduce risk, support drivers, and extract real value from their video telematics.”

The partnership highlights a shared commitment between Loomis UK and VisionTrack to protect drivers and other road users, using intelligent video and fleet technology to encourage safer driving.

VisionTrack’s Autonomise.ai platform is developed and supported in the UK, meets GDPR, and holds Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO 27001.
