It is the legal responsibility of every
employer to ensure that the
Respiratory Protective Equipment
their staff wear are appropriate, safe,
properly used. The simplest way for
an employer to check that his
responsibility is covered is to arrange
a ‘fit test’ conforming to the
appropriate Protocol HSE282/28.
